Hélène Bérard is the Founder and Managing Director of Bérard & Lovell Solicitors. Dual-qualified as an avocat in France and a Solicitor of England and Wales, she provides expert legal advice to businesses and individuals with UK, French and international interests. Combining an understanding of both legal systems with a practical and approachable style, Hélène helps clients navigate complex legal issues with confidence, whether they are expanding a business, negotiating commercial agreements or managing cross-border matters.
As Managing Director, Hélène also acts as the firm's Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA), ensuring that the firm maintains the highest standards of professional conduct, regulatory compliance and client service.
Hélène founded Bérard & Lovell with the vision of creating a law firm that combines high-quality legal expertise with a personal, responsive and approachable service. She believes that legal advice should be practical, commercially minded and communicated in plain English, allowing clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
